Peter Cullen: Optimus Prime
Only Peter Cullen could have voiced Optimus Prime in the 2000s Transformers movie. After all these years, I finally have a pic which Mr. Cullen autographed. Getting a certified autograph can be difficult (and a bit expensive), but, this time was worth it. I remember the start of the Transformers in the early 1980s! I still have my Gen 1 Prime, all pieces accounted for. I, like so many, was crushed when the powers that be (likely Decepticons) killed Prime off in the 1984 movie (great movie soundtrack BTW... Just Sayin). Then, I watched (and have the VHS of the special that saw Optimus Prime's return). "Heroes never die... I, Optimus Prime can never be conquered." I was overwhelmed with joy the very first time I heard the commercial advertising the Autobot leader's return. Here's the signed print I now have. FYI - The soundtrack to the 1984 movie is available again on vinyl. Just an fyi. It's amazing! Many thanks to the Ebayer through whom I got this pic.
